Cops not pressuring Bala to come forward

Star | The police have no intention to pressure private investigator P. Balasubramaniam to come forward to have his statements recorded, Federal CID director Comm Datuk Mohd Bakri Zinin said.

He said since the PI had made two statutory declarations, it was their job to investigate the matter promptly.

“We are still in the midst of tracking his whereabouts and we are seeking the help of Interpol. We have also alerted all exit points out of the country.

“We do not rule out the possibility that he may be overseas,” he said Tuesday when met after witnessing the handover of duties of state police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Ayob Mohamed here.

Comm Mohd Bakri said Balasubramaniam had no reason to be afraid and could bring along his lawyer to the police station.… selanjutnya.
